Real stories, practical resources and honest conversations for mixed-nationality families, third culture kids and expats navigating identity, language and love — across borders and cultures.
Our Story
I couldn't find a space that felt like us — so I made one.
Everything here is lived before it is written.
I grew up between cultures — born in Kenya to a Malagasy mother and an English father, learning early what it means to carry multiple traditions, languages, and expectations within one identity.
Today I’m raising my own multicultural family. My husband was born in the Netherlands with Moroccan roots, and together we’re building our life in Germany while raising two children across cultures, languages, and traditions.
6+ cultures in one household
2 continents we call home
2 kids finding their place in all of it
Multicultural Home is the space I wanted to find when we were starting out. Honest, warm but especially practical — written by someone who lives it every single day.
